The idea

grep matches lines of text. Derevo (Russian for "tree") is meant to match code structure: search a repository by syntax node, such as a function definition, a call or a type, using Tree-sitter grammars. A query for a call to parse would then find calls, not comments and strings that happen to contain the word.

Where it stands

The repository holds the crate layout: a CLI entry point and an empty parser module. No parsing or indexing exists yet. It is listed because it is the next tool planned for the Dev Suite, not because it is usable today.
